Thomas Adams, St. John Paul II Catholic High School Class of 2019
During the Summer and Fall of 2024, St. John Paul II Catholic High School found itself temporarily without a Facilities Manager and in need of someone to oversee campus maintenance. Stepping up to meet this challenge was Thomas Adams, Class of 2019. Thomas took on the responsibility of managing daily maintenance tasks, scheduling and overseeing contractor visits, and providing essential support to faculty and staff to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
In addition to his facilities management duties, Thomas played a key role in assisting with school event set-up and breakdown, as well as contributing to the Parent Association’s Oktoberfest preparations.
"The school was definitely blessed by one of our alumni's willingness to serve his alma mater in that capacity. He was a true Godsend. He was a conscientious worker who exuded his faith and a servant mindset. I'd like to think that his formation as a student here helped mold him into the man he is today."
In addition to the facilities management responsibilities, Thomas continued to pursue his studies at the University of Alabama Huntsville, where he is currently a Junior majoring in Accounting with a minor in Business. He is also an active member and former officer of the UAH Catholic Campus Ministry.
The faculty and staff at St. John Paul II Catholic High School would like to express their sincere gratitude to Thomas for his hard work and dedication during his time on campus. His contributions are greatly appreciated!
