  The St. John Paul II Catholic High School Advancement Office can assist with contributions and planned giving. As you consider your gift, please explore the links below to learn more about the type of gifts that are available. We suggest all donors seek professional advice as to their own personal financial situation, but consider the following:
  Determine your priorities with regard to giving – it is your decision and privilege.
  Inventory your estate to determine the value of your potential giving.

- Gifts of Cash
  Cash gifts given outright are the most common type of contribution. They can be made by an individual, corporation, or foundation. You can CLICK HERE to make a gift online, or mail a check to:

- Recurring Gifts
  A recurring donation is one of the most valuable gifts JPII can receive. Unlike one-time contributions, recurring gifts provide steady, predictable revenue that allows for long-term planning. This reliability strengthens financial stability and allows for a greater impact within the school. You can CLICK HERE to make a gift.
- Matching Gifts
  If your company offers an Employee Matching Gifts Program, you can make your contribution to St. John Paul II Catholic High School go farther. With this type of gift, you can easily double your support and strengthen the benefits to our students. If your company has a matching gift program, just mail or email your company's matching gift form with your contribution.
  
  Another way to double your impact is to create a Matching Gift Challenge. An example of this would be where you commit to matching all donations that JPII receives up to a set amount.
- Gifts of Appreciated Securities
  Outright gifts of appreciated securities may entitle the donor to a double tax benefit. The donor gets an income tax deduction for the full fair market value and avoids paying capital gains tax on the growth. An official tax receipt will be mailed to the donor after JPII receives the stock gift.

- Donor-Advised Funds
  A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows individuals and families to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash or publicly-traded stock, to a qualified 501(c)(3) charity.
  
  To use your donor-advised fund to make a gift to St. John Paul II Catholic High School, communicate with your fund administrator to generate the gift and to help you understand any quarterly or end of year distribution restrictions/deadlines they may have. - Qualified Charitable Distributions
  A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a tax-smart way for IRA owners 70½ or older to donate a qualified amount annually directly from their Traditional IRA to St. John Paul II Catholic High School. This donation counts toward the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) without paying income tax on the withdrawal, avoiding higher tax brackets and lowering Medicare premiums.   St. John Paul II Catholic High School is proud to offer unique sponsorship opportunities to individuals and businesses throughout the year. Your gift has an immediate impact on need, such as supporting retreats, service initiatives, academic and club programs, athletics, and community events, but also provides valuable exposure for our sponsors. Your support helps ensure these opportunities aren’t placed solely on tuition or fees borne by our families, while also offering meaningful recognition and visibility within our school community and beyond. - Giving Societies
  The Bishop David E. Foley Benefactor’s Society is a unique membership opportunity that may be available to individuals and couples who have significantly contributed to the development of JPII. For details on the Benefactors Society, CLICK HERE.
- In-Kind Donations
  In-kind donations are a powerful way to support JPII without giving money directly. Instead of financial contributions, individuals and businesses may donate goods, services, or expertise that help JPII carry out its mission.
  
  Common examples include auction items for special events, office furniture, and legal support. These contributions reduce operating costs, allowing JPII to direct more of our budget toward essential programs for student impact. Please contact the Advancement Office for in-kind donation needs.
- Volunteerism
  JPII needs volunteers to strengthen its mission and community. Volunteers help support academic and extracurricular programs, provide mentorship and faith-based role modeling, assist with events and fundraising, and allow the school to offer more resources without increasing costs.   Kroger Community Rewards:
  Create a digital account at Kroger.com. Once logged in, scroll to Community Rewards under My Account and choose ST. JOHN PAUL II CATHOLIC HS (XV735) as your school. Every time you shop at Kroger and use your account ID, JPII will earn rewards.
  
  Office Depot 5% Back to Schools Program:
  Every time you shop at Office Depot in store or online, remember to give our school ID # 70001437. If you forget to provide the school ID during checkout, save your receipt and enter the purchase information online at Give Back to Schools. Our school will earn credits equal to 5% of your qualifying school supply purchases every time you shop.
