JP2 Falcon MARCHING BAND
The JP 2 Falcon Marching Band teaches discipline, teamwork, responsibility and an appreciation for music. The marching band consists of high school students as well as middle school students from partner schools. The JPII Falcon Marching Band performs at various events including football games, contests and parades. The JP2 Falcon Marching Band has won several awards including:
-All Superior Ratings in all categories: Drum Major, Colorguard, Percussion, and Band at the 2025 Pride of Athens Marching Invitational
-Superior Ratings for Drum Major and Color Guard, Excellent Ratings for Percussion and Band,
Second Place Band in Class A Gold at the 2025 Tennessee Valley Marching Invitational
- The JP2 Falcon Marching Band has been invited to perform at Universal Studios during Spring Break of 2026!
*2026 BAND CAMP Schedule:
JULY 20-24 8:00a.m.-3:00p.m.
JULY 27-31 3:30p.m.-6:30p.m.
CONCERT BAND
The JP2 Concert Band is comprised of students in grades 9th-12th. The band class focuses on music during marching band season as well as concert season. The JP2 Concert Band performs three concerts per year – Veterans Day program, Christmas concert, and Spring concert. They also perform at the Music Performance Assessment in the Spring and received Superior Ratings at MPA in 2024.Students can also participate/audition in other music events such as:
Solo & Ensemble, community performances, NAPSBO (North Alabama Private School Band Organization) Honor Band, University Honor Bands, All State/District Honor Band, etc.
