St. John Paul II Catholic High School welcomes all military personnel, including active-duty service members, reservists, veterans, and their families, to Huntsville, and we thank you for your dedicated service. We are proud that you are considering Catholic education for your children, and look forward to having you join our Falcon family! We strive to help all new students find opportunities to pursue faith, service, and excellence at MCPS through academics, the arts, and athletics.
The Alabama Purple Star Schools Program was established by the Legislature with the passage of Act 2021-7. This program recognizes local schools and was designed to help mitigate the challenges of high mobility by setting standards and publicly designating military-friendly schools. The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military.
JPII is proud to be a part of this amazing program and is committed to ensuring excellence in the education and well-rounded growth of military-connected students. For example, we celebrate military children and families with our very own Veteran’s Assembly, where we welcome each branch of the military and give them our deepest gratitude.
